Symantec Endpoint Protection is deployed across all end points in our organization. It addresses signature virus protection, some discovery and lockdown via policy of certain areas. It also offers integration with Active Directory and can be used an antivirus scan tool. Central management makes this product easy to use and manage.

Price was key and centralization of the costs and management.
I would have rolled it out in Active Directory with version 11 instead of recreating the wheel with 12.

Yes - need that level for the amount of Endpoints we support and the nature of the product
Our SE was able to help us discover a specific file with in 20 mins from my email. This was our first discovery usage.
