Overall Satisfaction with Shift

I run several business and each business has its own email address, using Shift has made it so easy for me to be able to switch from one Google Workspace account to another. It has also streamlined my need for Docs, Sheets, Drive and Contacts all within the system. I also love being able to add different apps, Todoist, YNAB, Xero and much much more. Shift has saved me time and money from switching to different browsers constantly.

  • 1Password - doesn't always work
  • When opening a browser within Shift, it doesn't recognize some websites, I get errors and need to go to Chrome or Safari
  • It has saved me time from switching to a different tab in my browser.
  • It has saved me from needing to sign in to different gmails constantly if one is signed out.
  • I get the apps that I use consistently right at my fingers tips.
  • My desktop is clean, and doesn't have hundreds of apps up and running.
The software UI is best in class. I have used many other softwares like Shift and there aren't as easy to navigate. Shift has really thought it through in terms of how users access the different elements of Google Workspace. They have made tabs simple and easy. Accessing different elements are within reach.
You can not even compare Shift to those two. Those two UI are very difficult to navigate, the softwares also lag compared to Shift. They also lack a lot of features that Shift has, like Chrome Extensions. Those other two only offer minimal extensions where you can get any extension to use with Shift.

Anyone having more than 1 email account. Anyone using 3 or more apps that are standalone or web based. Anyone on a team who uses the same software and just needs the team to see the same workspace. If you have many Gmail accounts, it makes using all the apps so much easier.
