Overall Satisfaction with Shopify
Shopify is used for the website of one of our e-commerce brands to power our checkout process and experience. Previously this site was on Adobe Business Catalyst for a number of years.
- Easy to use and very powerful to support continued growth
- App Store Marketplace makes integrations a breeze
- Accept payments without merchant account and payment gateway hassles
- Email marketing is an added cost compared to the previous system we were on, but this isn't a big issue
- A secure and stable platform for us to continue growing with indefinitely
- A migration process that was relatively straitforward
- App Store for easily adding integrations and improvements to our store
- Adobe Business Catalyst (Discontinued)
We were Business Catalyst users since 2009 (before it was acquired by Adobe). We met Adobe in person to discuss future development of the Business Catalyst platform, and it served us well until Adobe halted development on it and ultimately discontinued it. We grew accustomed to annoying workarounds that were needed as a result of the platform's development halting. With Shopify, we have a solution that is trusted by millions of store owners and is constantly improving.
With Shopify, we feel we are taken care of because of their scale and strong focus on e-commerce specifically.
