Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We have a 'general' channel for the team, individual team channels, some private channels for 'management' etc. and we use these for quick communication within the business. It doesn't replace our other forms of communication and we find it useful to also have non-synchronous communication through 'claromentis' (our own platform).
- It can be distracting at times, we had to introduce a 'slack etiquette' guide
- You can't edit existing reminders easily, you have to delete and recreate them

It's great for any company that requires quick/instant communication. We use Google Workspace, but it integrates well with Google Calendar so that's not a problem. I can see how anyone who uses primarily Office 365 tools may want to use Microsoft Teams, as it's more integrated with that ecosystem than Slack.
