Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a franchise organization, so the need to coordinate across multiple shops in a given market is important. We get input from our home office but maintain complete hiring authority at each location. The ability to save a job, collaborate with others and then integrate with various job boards for promotion has been helpful. I have been pleased with SmartRecruiters.

Candidate Experience

The candidate experience is more my doing than SmartRecruiters. It's easy to reject an applicant and not send them a notification as to why. That is understandably frustrating for an applicant.
SmartRecruiters makes it easy for me as the hiring authority but it's often up to me to provide value for the candidate. I wouldn’t say SmartRecruiters does anything different for candidates vs other ATS systems, other than prompting for rejection/response.

Usability for Hiring Managers

Makes the hiring process more manageable.

We hire two types of candidates: technicians and customer service/sales staff. It works equally well for both.

Return on Investment

People are the difference. It’s cliche, but true. As a franchise the difference in teams separates shops from just making it vs thriving.
