Overall Satisfaction with SmartRecruiters

SmartRecruiters was, and still is, being used by the HR/Recruiting Department at Edge Pest Control. This ATS addressed many of our organizational and communication issues regarding new applicants. It made it so applicants didn't slip through the cracks, ensuring we hired the best candidates possible.
  • Tracking Applicants: At Edge, we had about 11 different offices we recruited for. Despite the high influx of applicants we had on a daily basis, SmartRecruiters is set up in such a way that it's easy to differentiate between offices and not lose track of applicants.
  • User Friendly: SmartRecruiters navigation is very intuitive, and every service rep I spoke to was extremely helpful and quick to solve any problems I might have had.
  • The only issue I ever encountered was the actual moving of candidates throughout the "Hiring Process." The navigation system works fine, I would just like to see it a little more fine-tuned.
Prior to SmartRecruiters, the HR department was using Google Sheets. This program, while effective in its own way, was not fulfilling our department's needs.Candidates were forgotten, accidentally deleted, etc., and our recruiting numbers definitely suffered. With SmartRecruiters, we were better able to track candidates in whatever stage of the recruiting process they were in. As recruiters, we were much more organized, able to call and communicate with candidates much quicker, without anyone feeling forgotten.
SmartRecruiters is very user-friendly. The fact that hiring managers are already extremely busy means that they just don't have the time for something disorganized and difficult to use. SmartRecruiters, while simple to use, is masterfully complex in organization and ease of use.
  • We definitely had better quality hires. We could sort and rate candidates so it was very clear on which candidates were right to hire.
  • Higher retention. With the better hires, we had less people quit, meaning our offices remained almost fully staffed at all times.
  • We also saved a lot of time using SmartRecruiters. As this ATS can pull candidates from a variety of job boards, our recruiters didn't have to spend time scouring the internet for applicants.
SmartRecruiters worked exceptionally well for our company and our needs. As a newly created HR department, SmartRecruiters was able to help us become more efficient in hiring and tracking our applicants--while remaining user-friendly and effective.
