Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Netflow Traffic Analyzer
Because of the physical locations we work from, bandwidth can be worth more than silver and gold. It is very important to be able to dig deep and see what is using the bandwidth and how. SolarWinds NTA allows us to do just that. I can categorize data, dig down to highest usage, top talkers, services etc.
- Quick reports to show management how the system is being used.
- Fantastic dashboard for an easy look at how things are at any given moment.
- Powerful drill downs to locate problem areas.
- Although not their responsibility, further documentation on implementing with various vendors to make configuration easier.
- It has allowed me to provide better QoS.
- It has helped me re-categorize and prioritize network services.
- It has helped me prove time theft and wastage.
Due to the tight integration with the rest of the Orion system and that you're letting hardware send to software instead of trying to play man in the middle, NTA is just so much easier to use, provides better information, and is easier to display to management
