Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Pingdom
We purchased the service back in 2012, before Solarwinds bought it. We just use the Starter version and monitor uptime for 4 websites. We don't use any other service (honestly I don't know what else it does). I'm incredibly pleased with it as far as we use it.
The only downside is that we can't seem to get pingdom integrated, billing-wise, with our other Solarwinds products. I pay for it every year with my personal credit card because they can't seem to invoice us. Were I to do it again I'd check out our other vendors to see if they offer something similar and can do no-bother billing.

- It notifies us when a site is down.
- Just the billing/invoicing issue I already expressed.
- We need to know when our customer-facing website is down. I don't have $$ numbers.
- SolarWinds Dameware Remote Support (DRS), SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA), SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (npm) and SolarWinds Security Event Manager (SEM)
