Overall Satisfaction with Square 9 Softworks
We primarily use Square 9 for document management across several departments. Having our documents archived in Square 9 allows us to respond to inquires much faster and with greater accuracy than dealing with paper records. We currently keeps some documents for 100 years. This has always created a burden when it comes to paper file storage within our offices. While we are still required to keep paper copies as a backup, we can do so offsite and can access the documents through Square 9 without needing to leave the desk.

- OCR capabilities allow users to quickly and accurately index files without data errors from manually keying in data
- Administrators can update users access through active directory without ever opening Square 9 and without generating accounts in yet another system
- Users can find files needed without ever leaving their desk
Square 9 was a better fit for our organization due to the costs and features that it offers. With Square 9, we were able to get 3 years of licensing for about 1 year of the competitors licensing costs.
Square 9 is also much easier to manage and use on a day-to-day basis than DocuWare.
