Overall Satisfaction with StepShot
StepShot is being used to capture processes within the company, so standard processes are both documented and followed. This is helping the company streamline and position itself for long term growth, as well as quicker onboarding time for new coworkers/contractors. It helps reduce training time since both videos are done of the procedures, but it provides a written manual that can be referenced much quicker.
Pros
- Easily capture process as you're going through it
- Easily edit the captured process
- Add new steps/slides into the process as needed after it's captured
- Save time when onboarding new team members.
- Reduced questions asked by providing reference documents to go along with the video.
I haven't used any other products like StepShot. While I've used video and screen-capture software to document processes, I haven't used another process capturing software. StepShot is the only one I know about, so I can't speak to how it compares against competitors/unique features, etc. I've been pleased with the StepShot software.
