Overall Satisfaction with Stripe

We use Stripe to bill for both our SaaS offering and one-time consumables. Our business model is both a monthly subscription, and one-off paid for marketing campaigns including lead-gen, and pro-serve services. Stripe is our payment process of choice, along with our invoice and customer payment CRM solution.

  • Web interface for managing your accounts
  • Fees/pricing is high. 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
  • New Product offerings can be confusing
  • Web UI can be unwieldy
  • We bring in revenue because we can charge customers
  • Relatively simple to cancel customer recurring payments
  • Analytics to optimize for increased revenue opportunities
While pricing was higher, the developer agility offered by Stripe, along with the sheer ease of use made it worth the higher fees. While others may be offering better UX now, Stripe is still the leader in UX among their peers, and if constantly adding more features and functionality to keep us on their platform.
Pricing in the cost of transactions, Stripe is an easy to use payment processor that makes accepting payments, and that side of your business easy. Doubly so if you want to integrate payment acceptance into your web/mobile/desktop applications. They are developer friendly, and a pleasure to use.
