Overall Satisfaction with Submittable

We use Submittable to facilitate our scholarship application for the Bob and Marion Wilson Teacher Institute. Submittable allows us to collect applications, have them reviewed by both volunteers and staff, and notify the applicants all in one system. In addition to the application process, we are able to use Submittable to host our donor stewardship form where teachers can upload comments and thank you notes. Using Submittable for this process has saved our interns hours of typing up hand written comments from teachers.

  • The multiple notifications on the multi tier review was confusing for our volunteers
  • The automatic labels keep changing between the full state name and the initials
  • I would love to have a feature where if the applicant checks a box an email would automatically go out
  • Submittable has saved our interns hours of transcribing hand written comments
  • The system is user friendly for applicants
  • The system can be used for multiple projects at once
I dove head first into Submittable on my first day in my position without any training. It was easy to do a self-tutorial with the how-to videos to learn how to build forms and automatic responses. The videos and fast responses from the customer service team made Submittable easy to learn and continue using!

Submittable is well suited for the application process. We have a grant program for professional development opportunities and I am currently working on convincing the committee to abandon the paper application and make the switch to Submittable. My department is currently contemplating using Submittable as a volunteer application but are running into some stumbling blocks
