Overall Satisfaction with Submittable

We use Submittable for scholarships, volunteer applications, and youth program planning. It supports scoring equitably and inclusively. It allows for collaboration when it comes to teams working with different teachers, school districts, and professionals. As for our scholarships, this is the first program that has met all our needs to ensure we are leading with equity and anti-bias.
  • Scoring
  • Collaboration on forms.
  • Tags for extra layers of organizing.
  • Flexibility for form creation - including branching!
  • Continue to support more form design flexibility.
  • Ability to hide a form question without deleting it from the existing form - for example, once a shift is filled - it'd be helpful to hide it so other shifts are shown as high need but without changing already entered responses.
  • It would be great to see more auto-label style functions for exporting and reports and ease of data organization.
  • More responsive for our selection committees.
  • Easier access for those collaborating on forms.
  • Saves at least 25% more time in reports and data gathering versus other programs.
I gave it a seven, as there are some funky paths to get to things that should feel more obvious. But - that being said, I think the use of Submittable is more user-friendly than most others and allows for intuitive thinking when navigating. Overall, I think almost everyone could use Submittable with ease!
While we have a more closed process when it comes to scholarship recipients, it allows us to create a positive and meaningful feedback session when those applying have questions. This means they have a more likely chance to use it again in the future and trust that, as an organization, their forms won't be lost in the process. This is huge for those who want to spend multiple days filling out their applications.
Many features on the LGL forms do not translate to Submittable and vice versa. We use Submittable more because it allows for better branching and flexibility to customize each form rather than needing multiple for the same data collection or selection process. While we like LGL for many other factors, we choose Submittable first regarding forms.

I think of all the programs available when it comes to having multiple types of forms as a non-profit organization, and this is at the top of the list! Scoring, Auto-Labels, and Branching are AWESOME!
