Overall Satisfaction with Symantec Endpoint Protection

Symantec Endpoint has been the primary Anti-virus software for the company. Software offers simplicity and ease of use.

Pros

  • Protecting workstations
  • clean user interface

Cons

  • At times, the software has not been easy to remove. Mostly, it involves 2 removal tools to full remove the software from systems. It can be a stubborn to remove at times.
  • The user interface can be kind of "busy", finding it difficult at times for exactly where to go and what is needed.
  • no measureable impact
The decision to go with Symantec Endpoint protection was made before my joining the company
Less appropriate for servers and more appropriate for workstations.
