Overall Satisfaction with Tailwind

I have used Tailwind since 2017 in different capacities as Pinterest (and Tailwind itself) has changed over time. I used to use the scheduler extension, community boards, and analytics almost daily to schedule all of my pins, and it was great for that. However, as Pinterest's interests shifted, Tailwind changed, adding quite a few tools I don't have a use for. A year ago, I downgraded to the free version, as I felt like it just wasn't meeting my specific needs for the cost. I now use it solely to share 3-4 pins a month to communities.
  • Pin creation and scheduling
  • Sharing pins to communities
  • Since an update a year or two ago, the website is slow and less intuitive
  • They offer too many features that
  • The lower pricing tiers should offer more value for cost and be available as monthly plans
  • Analytics ("Insights") often don't work or aren't accurate
  • The UI is a bit clunky across the board - from browser extensions to the dashboard and throughout the new website
Tailwind may work for beginners just learning to build their social media presence. I don't think it's the best way to get Pinterest engagement anymore, and they don't offer much compared to other social media schedulers. When they focused solely on Pinterest, they were great, but as they've branched out into other areas (emails, marketing plans, Instagram sharing) they let their Pinterest product stagnate. I already have a social media scheduler that includes quite a few more platforms and features most social media managers or comms teams really need and use on a day-to-day basis and it costs less, so I have a hard time thinking of people I'd recommend try Tailwind, honestly.
