Overall Satisfaction with Talkwalker
I use Talkwalker in combination with Google Alerts to track mentions, news, competitors' news and updates, backlinks, and potential backlinks. It's an extremely useful tool for every digital marketer out there especially if you have a zero budget.
Pros
- Track the news on a particular topic in English or choose to get all news in every language
- Track your brand's mentions
- Track the backlink opportunities
- Keep a close eye on your competition and their updates across the web
Cons
- The tool is missing an option of excluding certain words and thus refining your search results.
- Talkwalker is one of the best tools in my arsenal. I'm finding a lot more backlink opportunities and I'm capable of successfully guessing the competitors' marketing strategy by tracking and following their updates and mentions on the internet.
1 - Marketing
I have yet to find another tool that would provide me with such a detailed information per query. It's such a find! Plus, I get separate emails per a search query and I'm able to archive those emails to the appropriate folders and always have a way of looking back. It's very useful for building monthly reports.
