Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Tealium Tag Management Suite is being used to manage tags on our dotcom, mobile.com, and mobile app platforms. It is currently being utilized by Marketing and Channel Experience departments. The fundamental problem that the solution addressed was managing multiple tags on the page in one tag. Another problem it addressed is creating a data layer for the business to own and not rely on values that were provided on the page.

Pros and Cons

Pros

User Interface - UI is broken out to easily understand what data sources, load rules, tags, extensions, and versions are available in each profile.
Tag Status Checker - scans all tags in a profile that provides report of what tags have a newer version available
TLC - Tealium Learning Community is a source of knowledge for beginners and advanced users to get answers to questions quickly from Tealium developers

Cons

Versioning Control - versioning control has been a pain point for multiple admins to make changes to the same profile.

Exceptional account management support and excellent engineering expertise provided monthly (if needed)
