Overall Satisfaction with Text-Em-All

We have a corporate office as well as a warehouse facility in a separate location within 20 miles. Using Text-Em-All allows us to notify all employees in one or both locations of any emergency, or company closures. This saves us time and conveniently allows the admins to safely stay at home as well in bad weather.

Pros

  • Easy to use database to add or delete employee information
  • Group choices to reach employees at more than one location
  • Easy use to text message, with no lag time to deliver message

Cons

  • Add group in same field page as adding name and phone number
  • Fast, efficient delivery of messages to employees
  • Ability to assign employees a group so that only certain employees can be notified
  • I have no data on ROI
  • Most people will read/respond to a text before they will an email. This ensures that they will get the appropriate message in a timely manner.
There are times when the DC facility will not be in operation, shorten shifts, etc., and using the Text-Em-All is a way of reaching our employees in a timely manner. We use this program for emergency weather situations, which thankfully have been rare. It is a great tool to have so that we have the ability to reach our employees by group text message should we need to. I am the user in charge of keeping the contact data up to date on a daily basis.
I have not used any other products.

Do you think Text-Em-All delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Text-Em-All's feature set?

Yes

Did Text-Em-All live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Text-Em-All go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Text-Em-All again?

Yes

As a new user, I did not realize that I had to go to groups to add employees after adding the name and phone numbers. There is a field that shows how many employees are not applied to a group, which is a sign to go back and add that field. It would just be easier if it was all on one data entry page.
