Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Data Virtualization

It was supposed to centralize access to numerous data sources from different DB architectures and provide unified access to all data. However, the limitations we found for example in the Hadoop connection prevent this use case for now. Interesting technology but it has to mature further to be usable on an enterprise level and for more complicated use cases.

Our use case to use TIBCO Data Virtualization as a single access point to all databases failed so far. We had issues while using complex structured data sources in TIBCO Data Virtualization. We are still in the PoC phase with no outlook for productive use soon.
