Overall Satisfaction with TMetric
We are using TMetric within our technical department; namely, for developers, quality assurance, as well as software configuration engineers.
The tool is used primarily for reporting of tasks and hours worked on different projects, which is needed by grant authorities and investors.
From a project management perspective, I can view at a glance the hours and costs associated with the work of my team in order to understand where effort and resources are going, in order to course-correct as well as estimate better for future projects.

Pros
- Team time and cost pie chart overviews.
- Integrations with related tools, such as calendar, browser, project and source code management - reducing friction for users.
- Report exporting capabilities.
Cons
- We use the integration with Zapier to connect our calendars to TMetric, and there is some limitation in that only one set of default settings (task, project) can be applied.
- Time savings in creating reports for administrative purposes.
- The monthly cost is negligible compared to the amount of time and effort it saves us.
