Overall Satisfaction with TSheets

Tsheets is used by our staff that has to be in more than one location. Our admin and asst. manager do errands and sometimes need to complete jobs that require them to clock in away from an old school time card machine, so it makes it easy on them and us. Two of our employees do work in our vineyards and winery, which are paid by different companies, so TSheets set it up to be really simple for them as well as us on the bookkeeping side. It used to be a lot on our employees to hand everything in, now it's all available online. We also were having issues with mileage tracking, so that has been made easier as well. Lastly, this also keeps accountability.

Pros

  • The software is really pretty user friendly. It took some time in the beginning to get familiar with it, but now our whole team does fine. They have tutorials and their CS if it is confusing. I'm more computer savvy than most of my team, but I'm able to answer most questions they have and train them to use it with in minutes.
  • Customer service. I have always had incredible customer service experiences, like today with BD1. He was very quick, nice, and knowledgeable. I so wish other companies were like this (like my POS company, which makes me want to bang my head against a wall) because I can get what I need done fast as opposed to waiting and waiting. I also appreciate that the chat is available and actually on consistently.
  • I like the options of how Tsheets can be used...on any mobile, txt, you name it. That is really great.

Cons

  • Hmm. I'm pretty satisfied. But I guess I would say just working to make the back end more user friendly, but that's tough to do when there's a lot there.
  • Keeping our staff accountable. I have had issues with former employees padding their time and I don't have that happening now.
  • Gives us more time as the pdf's for my bookkeeper are so much easier than what we used to do for payroll. We have a couple staff still on old school time cards and those take more time since we have to add up the hours, but with Tsheets it does all the math for you.
-For mobile employees. With mileage recording and GPS capabilities, it's really nice.
-For employees that work at more than one type of job at a business. For us, I like that they can select the different vineyards we have so then we can see the expenses at the end of the year for labor per vineyard.
-For reliability in time cards. I don't stress like I used to. It helps me catch errors and make sure my staff is paid the way they should be.
