Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Power PDF Pro daily! We have been using this software since it was called Nuance PDF, then Kofax PDF, and now Tungsten. It works intuitively, always does what you expect, and offers versatility and security for working with PDF files. I have tried to use alternatives a few times to see what's available, but I always come running back!

Pros and Cons

Edit PDF file text.
Sign/append signatures to PDF files.
Converts file to/from PDF format.
Edits orientation of pages and order of pages within a PDF file.

In the PDF editor, it would be ideal to select your intended target areas a bit more easily.
When in PDF editor, font usage can be more consistent.
When converting files from PDF, more consistent output is better.

Return on Investment

I save hundreds every month by not sending documents to outside editors.
On a monthly basis, I have received files that would be very limited in use, but the PDF software allows me to work with them, saving hours of human power otherwise wasted.
The software is worth the money, but it can be more competitively priced.

Ease-of-Use

It is easy to use, and there is support to help you through any need. I use the software daily and feel comfortable with the commands and controls. There is no way to make it better than it is. I am thrilled with it.

Alternatives Considered

Nitro Productivity Suite, Adobe Acrobat and All PDF Converter

Ease of use, dependability, local access without the need for an online connection or subscription, and general familiarity of the software after years of use. Nitro is difficult to use, never works right, and jumbles files where it is hard to find what you are working on. Adobe requires an online account.

Support Rating

I have used it for 15 years and have only needed support once: a simple update that allowed me to use the software as intended. The support team was attentive and responsive, and I was on my way very quickly.

Features

This has become repetitive, but the fact that I can edit PDF files and convert files to/from PDF is paramount to my productivity. I also love that I can place multiple signatures on documents as necessary. It helps save me from printing and scanning. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite software applications.

Likelihood to Recommend

These days, the use of PDF files is much more critical than before. PDF files are more secure, can be easily compatible with multiple platforms, and provide a sense of consistency. For example, if you send an agreement in .doc format, someone may intentionally change the text that you may miss until years later. There is no such possibility as a PDF; this software provides this capability all day.
