Overall Satisfaction with Ubiquiti Networks UniFi

We are using Ubiquity devices as an alternative network for our production area users. It installs very quickly, the management of this device is easy, and connectivity is smooth. Now our 60% WLAN is dependent on Ubiquity Networks. In our plant we were facing fiber damage issues in our plant. Because we're in the automobile sector we can't wait for laying new fiber. Therefore we made a quick decision and implemented the Ubiquity device in 40 minutes and restored our network in our warehouse to resume operations. Now we installed it in many location for network extension because its price is very reasonable.
  • Smooth connectivity across long distance/range. It's amazing.
  • We use this device in heavy metal movement area & found this device fulfills all required need (we are using Infor-LX & SAP, no issue at all).
  • Price effective solution in long term.
  • Troubleshooting is very easy. In the last 4 years only one or two times we faced minor issues, power jerks etc.
  • Portal is not good.
  • Issues in large scale organization (it can be used in small business or mono activities).
  • Problem in VLAN environment.
  • Positive Impact: Low price product range is very good for low budget consumers.
  • Positive Impact: Great connectivity in any environment, weather & condition. It's a long term partner.
  • Negative Impact: issue in large users environment (connectivity is smooth but data transfer face hanging issues).
We studied on Cisco Wireless AP Aironet 2800 series and Ubiquiti products for wireless connectivity plant to remote locations & we chose Ubiquity due to its price range, specification, and durability (radio device best in outdoor), and long-range but smooth connectivity. (We checked while raining but no issue found)

Well suited in wireless connectivity for robotics (we are using in Plant robotics), small offices and plants (where Cable laying is an issue). The price is very good and also quick to set up the device (easily manage or handle small offices/home Offices).
Less Appropriate in large scale network environment & in VLAN environment.
