Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready

We use UKG Ready across our entire organization and it has really helped cut down a lot of the manual processes that took up a lot of our time. UKG Ready allows us to make one change that flows through to HR, Payroll, and Time and Attendance instead of making multiple changes across multiple platforms.

Pros

  • UKG Ready does a great job of training.
  • It was very thorough during implementation.
  • Support is always quick to respond to any questions that might arise.

Cons

  • Reporting could be more user-friendly.
  • Once workflows are created, they are difficult for the user to change. UKG Ready would need to get involved.

UKG Ready is a lot more comprehensive than TalentReef. UKG Ready is an all-in-one system whereas, with TalentReef, we had to use 3rd party vendors for time & attendance, and payroll. TalentReef was a little bit easier to navigate but that was simply because the system wasn't as comprehensive. I believe our employees like UKG Ready better because they are notified anytime there is something in the system that concerns them.
UKG Ready fits our industry, C-Stores, perfectly because there is no lag. Once a change is made in UKG Ready, it is sent out in real-time. There is no logging out and logging in or waiting for the change to take place. This is very important in the C-Store industry because things are constantly changing.
As HR Director, UKG Ready allows me the ability to quickly access my to-do items. From hiring, terminations, write-ups, and vacation requests, I can see them all in one spot with the click of a button. I am able to save time because I am not constantly searching for requests from my employees.
UKG Ready has a very comprehensive training early on. I believe it took us 6 months start to finish to get completely onboarded. We had multiple training sessions and phone calls each week to make sure we understood the system and it was set up the way we wanted it to be. UKG Ready also has community support pages where you can learn from fellow UKG Ready users along with online training materials you can access from your account.

UKG Ready is a comprehensive time and attendance, payroll, and HR solution. Anyone looking for an all-in-one solution will be happy with the system. It is very cumbersome and, at times, it does take a while to remember how to do certain things but their support is great at helping anytime there are questions.
