Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for AWS
I am associated with Veeam Backup solutions right from its inspection both as a customer and as an implementation Engineer to another customer. The Veeam solution overall and in particular "Veeam backup for Aws" is a one-stop solution for backing up the AWS environment. The Veeam solution is very reliable and the products are added with new features every day. Although Veeam backup for AWS is in its early days I am confident that Veeam for AWS will become a market leader because Veeam products have few advantages over other competitors as they add value to the product by giving options like. 1)sure Backup. 2)Virtual Environment to test their backups 3)easy setup which is few clicks. 4)Minimum RTO and RPO to achieve any level of SLA. Veeam is a product that has a history of coming with new value addition with every release and should meet all SLA for SMB and Large Enterprises.
- Ransomware cases.
- Facilitates migration.
- Can have cloud data backup available on premise.
- SLA is achieved.
- Lower RPO/RTO.
Because I have trust in the overall Veeam family, Their all legacy products have proven the recovery works so I trust that Veeam for AWS will also become a leader in the cloud arena.
- Acronis Advanced Backup (formerly Cyber Backup Cloud) and Acronis Cyber Backup
All backup solutions work but for Veeam there is the power of sure backup point-in-time support and they have a history of very dependable products for recovery for VMware and Hyper-V environment.
