Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
Veeam Backup and Replication is our primary method of backing up our VMware environment. We use it for multiple layers within our VMs such as OS file backups and SQL databases. It has also provided a great option when having to migrate VMs to different environments. We've thoroughly tested the Veeam backup solution for both backup and restore, and it has been robust for the many years we've been using it.

We have roughly 100 VMs being protected by Veeam. This was expected from the beginning as our environment growth is steady and predictable most of the time. All our protected VMs are currently on-premise and we are looking at the possibility of expanding it to the cloud.

When our virtual environment was built and began to grow (a long time ago), we needed a backup solution. Veeam had a lot positive reviews from our peers so we naturally went with Veeam as our solution.
We are currently not using Veeam to protect our cloud infrastructure, but it might be a possibility in the future.
We currently do not use this feature.
