Overall Satisfaction with Vena

I use Vena to manage everything finance related in one place, including budgeting and forecasting and it also saves me time by doing away with the necessity to move between several systems. Vena also helps my staff to work together free from version control concerns.

Pros

  • using Excel is simple thanks to its UI, I can create custom spreadsheets including real data
  • automation takes care of routine tasks, so I don’t have to spend time on manual reporting
  • having one central place for financial data improves accuracy and keeps everything organized

Cons

  • Vena struggled to integrate with ERP
  • complexity and demand for financed support
  • risk of inaccurate mapping or report faults
  • our month-end close is much faster now, saving us a ton of time
  • automation has cut down on manual work, which means fewer errors
  • we’ve improved resource planning by integrating financial data in a way that wasn’t possible before
From data entry to reporting, Vena maintains everything in perfect operating order. I love that it tracks audit history, so I always know who made changes. It also makes data entry with processes simple, thus nothing is lost.
With Vena, I always have current financial data so I may make confident judgments and it also helps me to recognize trends and make future plans. Everything is in one location, hence I can easily view the general financial situation of my business.

If you work with financial data often, Vena will make your life easier. For businesses requiring thorough planning and forecasting free from the burden of several tools, it's excellent. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a super simple solution, there’s a learning curve, but it’s worth it.
