Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

Our organization is using Vidyard differently than a typical business case. We have outside sales reps all across the country visiting gun ranges, training facilities, and retail stores pitching our memberships. We utilize Vidyard solely internally for video communication and compliance review. Reps submit video recordings that go to our QA team for review. Our chat and email communications are not always read by those out in the field, traveling class to class. We aim to keep admin responsibilities to a minimum for those out in the field. We share video announcements and training to allow for a better open and response rate with those out in the field.

  • Naming videos and adding descriptions.
  • iPad app development.
  • "Apply all" feature for name changes.
  • Delete multiple users at a time.
  • Increased communication abilities.
  • Opened up platform use for all-company adaption in future.
For my internal admin team, it's a simple platform to figure out with only a few caveats. For my external team, who is less tech knowledgeable, the app was a much simpler format to learn. As a user, the options are more limited, making it easier for those out in the field who only need to upload a video when requested.
Allego was next to impossible for even our internal team, let alone our team out in the field, to learn and develop. Their support was constant, but we never seemed to achieve anything in our meetings. The product owners at Vidyard have been much more personable and in-tune with our asks and needs!

Sharing video communications between clients or co-workers is quick and easy. Organizing the hub is simple and easy to view. There have been some things to overcome with our internal use case. Most of our users solely use an iPad, and the app is not currently built for that device. In our current situation, we don't share or embed any videos for the public. While there may be opportunities for this in the future, currently, everything is internal. I am looking forward to the manager user setting!
