Use Cases and Deployment Scope

All departments/divisions use Viewpoint. The integration between accounting, purchase orders, job costing, equipment and G/L is seamless and much needed.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Import of vendor invoices
Scanning of documentation to invoices, POs, etc

Cons

Have an icon that shows whether or not there is an image attached to an invoice or PO without opening the document imaging screen.
Reject invoices back to originator automatically rather than having to reject multiple times if there is more than one invoice approver.

Support Rating

The online help is not always sufficient and within our company we are limited to only three users that are authorized to contact the support line if there is an issue that needs to be addressed.

I have noticed that sometimes when importing vendor invoices there are errors that need to be manually corrected which I do not understand why the errors occur and it can be time consuming to correct those errors.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it it appropriate for most scenarios.
