Overall Satisfaction with Vista by Viewpoint

Vista by Viewpoint is being used across our entire company. Our accounting department uses it for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financials. Our purchasing department uses it for the purchase orders, our human resource department uses it for safety training tracking, onboarding, and record keeping. Operations use it for work orders and fleet management. Equipment services use if for fleet management and maintenance.
  • Lots of useful reports out of the box.
  • Ease of use and navigation.
  • Ease to modify existing reports to fit your needs.
  • Support can take some time to get back with you, but they are currently working on that.
  • The knowledge base is a real mess, unorganized, and it's sometimes hard to find the answers you are looking for.
  • Gaining the ability to manipulate reports in-house has saved us a great deal of money.

Vista by Viewpoint is well suited for companies that are looking to be able to drill down and run reports right out of the box. There are hundreds of standard reports that allow you to drill down into pretty much anything you want to query. The ability to easily modify these reports also helps to get a custom feel that we have grown to like.

If you have a simple question that can be answered at a level one, then the support is very helpful. If you have more challenging issues/questions it can take several weeks before you hear from anyone.

Using Vista by Viewpoint

The overall usability of Vista is great. The software is pretty easy to follow along with processes as workflows. The one major drawback for me is that there are many different ways to to complete the task at hand. I understand that this is a feature that comes with a software that allows you to customize to make it what you need it to be, but there is no clear overall process workflow on specific tasks.
