Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
We use WatchGuard for our network firewall and branch office VPNs. We also use WatchGuard's subscription services to provide an extra layer of antivirus and malware protection.
- Customer Support - Always through and patient. The techs really know their product and can help pinpoint issues if and when they arise.
- Updates are straightforward and easy to apply.
- Product support and unit upgrade pricing is fair and reasonable.
- I don't know of any room for improvement.

Yes. We've worked with a partner and also purchased some support directly. Specifically, Virtual Graffiti. No issues with Virtual Graffiti. They have always been able to provide the products we've requested in a timely manner and have even offered some aftermarket items that we've found useful. We have had a couple of licensing issues but GuardSite seemed to be able to readily communicate with Watchguard and resolve the same in a timely manner.
We name our units / firewalls based on their location. The licensing is simple to manage.
We have not utilized any other alternatives. We've chose Watchguard first and have been satisifed.
