Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our WatchGuard firewall is our trusted barrier between us and the outside world. I like the features that help keep us safe from ransomware. The webpage blocking features are nice to keep people from downloading from untrusted sites but those sites can be added to the whitelist. I really like the VPN features, and they allow me to add VPN users with ease.

I do like not having to cover more licenses along with all the other licenses I already have to keep up with.

SonicWall Analytics

SonicWall is too expensive.

Likelihood to Recommend

For our office, it is a great solution providing the security of a full-time robust firewall without having to sign up with a company to host or monitor it all the time. Being a smaller office, we don't have a full-time security staff and WatchGuard gives us the security of a full-time staff.
