Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

We use it for almost all our clients as a firewall. We rely on it to secure clients' LANs and establish VPN connections from each client's LAN to our private bastion. WatchGuard devices are user-friendly and come with plenty of features that enhance security and efficiency. Their intuitive interface makes configuration straightforward, and the robust set of tools they offer ensures comprehensive protection. We also appreciate the reliable support and regular updates, which help maintain high security standards and adapt to evolving threats.

Well suited for classic firewalling scenarios, such as in small to medium businesses (SMBs), multi-branch organizations, and educational institutions. For SMBs, WatchGuard provides robust threat management, advanced malware detection, and web filtering, ensuring secure local networks and controlled internet usage. In multi-branch organizations, its VPN solutions enable secure connectivity and centralized management of security policies, maintaining consistent protection across all locations. Educational institutions benefit from WatchGuard's ability to block harmful content and restrict non-educational websites, creating a safe and focused learning environment.

But it's less apropriate for local automatization (cli access and local API)
