Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
WatchGuard Network Security protects our LAN Network from malicious attacks. It is also used to secure connections that are needed in today's business structure. The WatchGuard Network Security is used to help protect from the inside out also, protecting all devices on the LAN from infecting and or stealing data from BYOD to company PCs. Blocking Zero Day attacks, Malware, Ransomware, and viruses. The WatchGuard Network Security is also used for WiFi protection throughout the facility, this is a must need in today's convenient internet connections, and so is the protection.

Cons
- Normalizing the Admin tools - the Webui to me is good for setting somethings, and the System Manager is good for others. I find myself jumping back and forth.
- Integration with third party systems, this can become challenging with some devices.
- Reporting and logging - this is one thing I believe should be a single click to turn certain logs on and off easily.
- Increased Productivity - uptime has greatly increased form old system. I believe the percentage would be a decrease in downtime of 35 to 40 percent.
- Compliance and regulatory ROI has helped financially offering the WatchGuard Network Security setup for protection to our insurance company. This proof of security has saved us thousands of dollars on our liability insurance.
- On the negative side - Performance overhead when implementing deep packet inspection and VPN encryption effect performance of WatchGuard Network Security.
I did work with a partner on the purchase of my WatchGuard Network Security device but I setup the device using the WatchGuard the website. I then used how to videos and website library PDFs and articles set rules. These were also used to setup VPNs, NAT, and network configuration. I have 2 WatchGuard Network Security devices so I bounce around both of them.
Yes, I believe I have mentioned that earlier the WatchGuard Network Security platform has centralized management, Consistent Policies, Integration capabilities. These are all together and easy to understand very intuitive! The enhanced security posture and reduced management overhead has lead to improved operational efficiency.It has also helped streamline our security goals as we move forward.
WatchGuard Network Security integrates multiple security functionalities (firewall, VPN, intrusion prevention, antivirus, application control, etc.) into a unified platform. This integration simplifies management, enhances visibility, and ensures consistent policy enforcement across the network. The ease to which these can be implemented is fast and you learn as you go along. Administrators can easily configure and monitor security policies, conduct threat analysis, and generate reports from a single management console. WatchGuard Network Security works the way you hope it would.
