Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings is used in our organization for online meetings both internal and external. It has wide range of features such as the recording, transcript, whiteboarding which solves problems that arise out of remote working employees. It is integrated with our Office 365 for easy scheduling within outlook. The single button for joining meetings on the app is great too.
Pros
- Webex Meetings provide users with a personal meeting room address which is very useful to conduct quick meetings by sharing the personal meeting room URL with the required people. No need to schedule meetings in advance for a quick and urgent discussion.
- To join a meeting, we can simply click on the join button when the time is near. No need to open the meeting invite from Outlook and click on the meeting link. This saves us time and we can join meetings almost instantly when we are late.
- The transcription feature is great if you are hosting people from different parts of the world. Each joining party can get the live transcript in his native language. These are available to download post meeting as well.
- The recently introduced AI based summary of the recordings is very handy feature and saves a lot of time for those who missed the meeting.
Cons
- During presentation mode, we would like to see more viewing options as compared to the available ones.
- The very useful gesture features included the feature list should be expanded to cater the day-to-day use cases.
- There should be an option to download the chat conversations during the meeting.
- Definitely a good decision to go with Webex Meetings as the collaboration between employees has improved a lot.
- Employees are able to conclude on their decisions faster and in an effective way due to the features that Webex Meetings has.
- In current times of hybrid and remote work, a sense of belonging is preserved due to high quality meeting video capabilities and gesture features.

Main challenge was to onboard a meeting app that will sustain team collaboration and avoiding infrastructure investments. Since Webex Meetings is a completely cloud-based solution and a one stop solution for all meetings needs like recording, transcripts, break out rooms, etc., It saved a lot of time in rolling out the solution to users.
The main challenge for our organization was to have a one-stop solution from a single vendor. This allowed us to minimize the efforts to talk to multiple vendors and setup solutions with them. Also, rolling out different solutions and integrating them with each other as well as with internal systems would have been a major roadblock for go-live.
We experienced a stable solution with minimum to no glitches. The meetings, the conference room devices and the applications work like a charm. Any technical support required is readily available from the 24/7 technical support center called Cisco TAC, which in itself is a great system. The response time and SLA are very much attractive to enjoy a seamless experience.
Webex Meetings is more robust than its competitors. The number of features that Webex Meetings offers is not matched by the competitors. The application stability during meeting as well as in standby mode is commendable for Webex Meetings. The technical support team from Cisco and huge amount of documentation available globally for users makes a huge difference in selecting Webex Meetings. Other competitors lack in this area too.
