Overall Satisfaction with Whova
Makes collaboration/conferencing possible when travel restrictions prevent face to face gatherings.
Pros
- Agenda works well -- can build personal agenda alongside the full agenda.
- adapts schedule to my timezone, so I don't have to convert from EDT to Auckland time
- makes it so easy to meet people
Cons
- At first I found it difficult to navigate, but after some orientation i found my way around.
- Brilliant way for scheduling major conference, allowing for plenary sessions, as well as multiple workshops run simultaneously.
- Because the workshops could be recorded, it meant that participants could choose to participate in more than one workshop. In face-to-face Conference, this was not possible.
- Extremely helpful in encouraging innovation as we heard of the experiences of a diverse range of particpants, giving us ideas as to what might work in our own context.
