Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Acquia DAM primarily as an image database. We used to use a different database system that was not very intuitive. Having a useful search function is crucial because we have a massive amount of images.

Acquia DAM works well as an image database, which is what we use it for. It might not act as a robust image database for different file formats. I tried the advanced search function to locate EPS files and I know we have some on Acquia DAM, but it did not find any in our database.
