Overall Satisfaction with Widen

We use Acquia DAM (Widen) as a third-party vendor for one of our clients. Acquia DAM (Widen) allows us to manage their assets across nine divisions and gives them access and the ability to easily download.

Pros

  • Has a platform that is user friendly
  • Quick and responsive to needs
  • Open to new ideas

Cons

  • As a software company, if an issues arises, they should have the ability to screen-share to dig into the problem. Help articles can only take you so far.
  • Positive - easy for our clients to use and access
  • Positive - has created a library of useful assets
Continuing to upload assets to further build our catalog.
This is the area that I think Acquia DAM (Widen) could do better. While they were great at first, our tailored support fell off. When we had an issue, we were sent articles on how to address it. Unfortunately, those articles made the issue worse. In our experience, only after rounds of emails and pleading were we able to get an associate to screen-share to solve our problem.
We've used Acquia DAM (Widen) for multiple clients and they seem to be the logical choice no matter the industry.

Acquia DAM (Widen) is a useful tool if you have a lot of assets that need to be categorized. Also, if search functionality is something that you desire, Acquia DAM (Widen) makes it easy and effortless to find assets within your respective system.
