Overall Satisfaction with Acquia DAM (Widen)

Acquia DAM (Widen) is the platform where we store and manage all of our digital assets, such as pictures, videos, marketing materials, etc. The business problems Acquia DAM (Widen) addresses is it serves as the primary source where all of our markets pull and store assets. Since we are a global company with a presence in different regions, we need a DAM like Acquia DAM (Widen) to rely on.

Pros

  • Stores assets in particular categories and sub-categories.
  • Can quickly find the assets through various means.
  • Able to house multiple kinds of assets.

Cons

  • Downloading images could be a little smoother.
  • Navigating the Admin Settings can be a bit tedious at times.
  • Asset consolidation.
  • Flexibility across multiple markets.
  • Efficient marketing promo launches.
I have not used the Acquia DAM (Widen) support team personally, but one of my team members has on multiple occasions in the past and she was pleased with the overall response time and felt that her questions were answered swiftly and effectively.

I think Acquia DAM (Widen) is a solid solution for storing, managing and pulling digital assets when you need them. For companies like ours that are multinational, we need to be able to sort documents by region and use them whenever necessary. Acquia DAM (Widen) is well-suited for that. Acquia DAM (Widen) may not be as suitable for smaller companies looking for a solution for digital assets due to the price.
