Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Using WinShuttle has been a tremendous help with mass changes and creation in SAP. There are only a few users within the organization currently, but it has helped me to streamline processes and reduce human error.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Validate data
Allow for quick and easy changes
Save Time!!!

Cons

Mapping can be a little tedious
Some of the functionality when creating new parts (MM01) is very complex

Return on Investment

My turn around time for creating parts has nearly been cut in half.
It has allowed me to write better processes and keep things consistent now that I can create scripts for transactions.
Troubleshooting and fixing problems is much easier now that I can do mass changes.

Alternatives Considered

I have not had the opportunity to try other similar products.

Likelihood to Renew

While the business decision to renew is not up to me, I will be urging management to continue using it because of the positive impact it has had in my area.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's wonderful for creating and changing master data. I would ask if the program will be able to handle the volume and transactions that are necessary to perform daily tasks as well as more uncommon duties.
