Overall Satisfaction with Workday Professional Services Automation
We primarily use Workday as an HRIS. For me specifically, I primarily use it to request time off work and view my vacation time balances. I'm able to send my requests to management and see when they approve the request. The main problem that it addresses is visibility into PTO and Sick time so I can see my balance and request the time needed.
- Simple to request PTO
- Visibility on approval of PTO
- Calendar to view all time off (i.e. Holidays, Vacation, Sick, Volunteer)
- Would like to be able to use it for clocking in and out
- The dashboard user interface could be improved to include more pertinent information
- Would be nice to hide features that we use other applications for (i.e. org chart, pay, expenses)
- Visibility into PTO balance
- Calendar view of time off
- Org Chart visibility is a nice feature
- Lots of features are not fully utilized(i.e. expenses, org chart, daily timecard)
- Our team is happier using this application for PTO than not.
- Easily to visually see PTO for accountability
I did not evaluate the purchase of Workday software. We use ADP for clocking in and out, to see our timecards, and our tax forms are also through ADP. We use Chrome River for our expense reporting. We use Workday to request time off and have visibility into our PTO and holidays.
