Overall Satisfaction with Workfront

  • Centralize projects in one solution
  • Deliver client-facing services
  • Govern compliance workflows
RedPoint finance is able to generate data-driven insights based on the information and reporting derived from Workfront, which is being used to capture time logged against professional services projects.

Pros

  • It is easy for users to log time.
  • Dashboards help executive team see results easily.
  • Notifications keep our administrator up to date on any new projects.

Cons

  • Reporting and analytics.
  • Sometimes it seems too complex, or has too many options /buttons to click that are unecessary.
  • We have been able to accurately track our cost of sales, which provides more sound financial statements.
  • Has allowed us to bill customers for excess work performed.
Not as much as we could. The only piece that has helped has been giving access to contractors to log time against a project, which yields greater visibility.
It seems well suited for a business that wants detailed insights on the status of a project. Likely not necessary, or [there are] easier tools out there for a small organization with few inputs.
