Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
Not sure if it has been used by most of the projects in my organization, but definitely a good choice for the project at the right time. It comes as an Adobe bundle for us with a lot of other beautiful Adobe tools. [I] have used many other tools similar to Workfront for managing projects and for tracking purpose[s], but [I] feel Workfront come[s] as one solution for all the things needed for a project; [whether] it is time tracking, the task assignment, or to track what all we have in the pipeline/backlog.
Pros
- Planning / Project Scoping
- Time Tracking
- Reporting
Cons
- UI could be improved
- Initial setup is a bit time consuming
- It will help teams to manage their workflow and impact on the overall productivity.
- Also, one-stop for the higher management to know [the] status [of] all projects in one go - more visibility, comfort tracking.
- Easy to track what is in backlog for the team and if any individual [is] stuck on a particular task.
Jira is mostly used as a bug locking tool or to track any new development for any specific region/EPIC. But Workfront has a lot of other features which are beneficial in project management. I still consider Jira and Workfront my top two options for project management and believe both have some of the other useful features which are required to manage any team.
