Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

I work for a media company and we use Wrike for all of our on-air and online promotions such as giveaways, contests, and broadcast remotes. Specifically it is more for the promotions side to have a system to keep organized, but helps my department to have one place to enter details and keep everyone organized verses a typical email back and forth situation.

Pros

  • Sets reminders
  • Connects coworkers
  • Does recaps for clients
  • Keeps old data to look back on and see what the client did previously

Cons

  • Speak to other systems
  • I feel like the access for AEs verses promotions is a little too locked up. I can't tag a coworker for example and have to have our promo director do it every time.
  • More visual aspects such as a place to see screenshots of how the promotion looks ahead of time
  • It is great for getting recaps to provide clients to show them what kind of exposure they got for contesting
  • We use it to look back on to see a specific date or what we did for a client promotionally if we need
  • The only downfall is we use a lot of systems and it doesn't speak to our other systems (ie Microsoft Teams or Salesforce) so it's yet another system we have to use

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

I can't say I wouldn't recommend it, but we as AEs use a lot of systems so to us it is just another system, but our promotions department lives and breaths with this system. For example, we have a contest on-air right now where we are giving away cash to listeners for calling in and I enter the clients logo and a brief ad script for them and the promotions department uses that to create the contest. It works really well for contesting. Secondly, we use it for remote broadcasts where I can request a date and time for a client, then promotions assigns it to our talent department and I can upload the information needed for that event. It keeps it all in one easy place for them.
