Overall Satisfaction with Brightmine

There are multiple use cases for the product within our business, but my usage generally relates to fact-checking and use of HR information, references and cases to support the production of our thought leadership content. When writing articles, press releases and a variety of other content, we use the information on Brightmine to ensure factual statements, evidence and global information is correct and up-to-date.

Pros

  • Excellent case information
  • Up-to-date global employment law details
  • Easily searchable so quick access to what you need

Cons

  • Even more countries added to expand global coverage
  • It is quite UK focused (the dashboard etc) and it would be useful to be able to search by country (e.g. via a specialised tab listing all countries)
This isn't my area of knowledge, but as I understand it, it has been very useful for our HR and compliance teams.
Brightmine has been very useful in providing an at-a-glance view of HR information and up-to-date case law; this has had a variety of benefits across various departments. We use Brightmine as one valuable tool in an arsenal of sources and research we utilise to keep on top of changing HR news.
Personally, none, as I was not responsible for the buying decision in this case.

Brightmine is well suited to companies like us that have employees based across multiple jurisdictions, with a need for at-a-glance HR information. We also find it useful for fact-checking statements in our public-facing marketing and PR content about labour law - for example, if we create an SEO-focused article that compares termination procedures in 5 countries, we can make sure the information is accurate. We have also utilised Brightmine to refresh the country pages on our website and make sure all information is relevant and up-to-date.
