Overall Satisfaction with Yardi Voyager

It is a complete property management software platform that seeks to maximize the ability to customize reporting and record all daily tasks and activities that occur while on a property. Tasks such as managing tenant accounts, running payments, lease renewals, marketing and generation of financial reports, affordable regulation compliance, work orders, etc.

  • licensing is more inclusive - if you use many of the features, will be more cost effective than other solutions out there with piecemeal licensing models
Overall it is a reliable and relatively easy product to utilize. No Property Management Software is simple to implement, so a return on investment is delayed and care should be made to ensure that this platform does everything you need for it to do. Experience and knowledge in SQL programming language is helpful, as there are many SQL reports and scripts available to be able to better utilize the software. It takes time to find the ones useful and the ones that resolve hiccups.
Both products have pros and cons, similar to the comment shared previously YARDI provides additional items as part of the base license - versus many items in the Realpage suite requires additional license (e.g. cost) to optimize use. If what is included in a YARDI Voyager license is what you will use, it is more cost effective.

Yardi Voyager excels in many facets of property management, but would especially recommend it for affordable housing program operators. With the increasing complexities of all of the programs affordable housing developments have these days, it is very helpful to have the customization and rigorously tested affordable program modules for site teams to utilize.
