Overall Satisfaction with Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins
The Yoast WordPress SEO Plugin is being used as a marketing tool on our website. It reviews and "grades" pages and posts based on SEO and readability. It is a quick way to address SEO on pages.
- This plugin is extremely easy to use. The interface is clean and simple. If you are at all familiar with the concepts of SEO, you shouldn't have a problem using this program.
- With a simple toggle, this plugin will highlight areas within your text that need improvement. For example, if you write very long sentences, with a click of a button you can see which need attention.
- The stoplight-type color coding is quick and easy to see how a page's SEO and readability are measured to industry standards.
- As much as I like the highlighting of errors, as I fix one area I lose the highlight and have to scroll to the bottom and ask to show the highlights again.
- We use the free version of this plugin so the biggest investment is time. The time it takes to use the plugin is minimal and the results are well worth the time.
- Getting traffic to our website is important. While we don't sell traditional products on our site, we still want clients to find us, request proposals and think of us a resource for their travel needs. We're seeing more RFPs from organic searches. This is a success.
This is my go-to plugin for SEO. It is easy, and I trust Yoast will give me solid results. In a short time period, our website has seen measurable results in organic search traffic. Our previous website didn't use page level SEO tools to this extent. We are systematically updating each page using the Yoast WordPress SEO Plugin. We are pleased with the results.
