Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Zerto to failover our VMware environment from one data center to another. It's being used for the VMs that need to be part of our disaster recovery plan. One of the problems [in my opinion] is the size of the journaling.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Failover of VMs from one data center to another
Easy of use once setup
Don't have to commit the failover until the process is ready.

Cons

Would be nice if there was some way to reduce the size of the journal

Return on Investment

Makes failover of hundreds of VMs very easy.

In the past when we ran into bugs, Zerto engineering was able to come up with a solution very quickly.

Easy to use once its setup

Cost is a high. Where in other environments that use VMware maybe using vCenter and the storage platform to do the failover instead of Zerto. But Zerto works very well.
