We are a catering company servicing 20 remote locations for their daily lunch service through the cafeteria. With each location, we employ at minimum 1 cashier and 1 food server. In addition, we have a small admin team consisting of 2 individuals as well as 15 kitchen staff and 6 drivers. ZipRecruiter helps us create advertisements for open positions quickly and efficiently when the opportunities arise.

We received many applicants on our most recently posted listing. Some were very under qualified, and some over qualified. This includes those who ZIpRecruiter recommended us to invite to apply. Overall, the majority of candidates who applied or who were invited were best suited for the job at hand and we were very satisfied with the experience.

The recruitment tools have been mostly beneficial. The only downside was when it came to "invite-to-apply". If we had not received any applicants in some time, we would use that feature to get the listing out to a larger audience. Doing so would sometimes bring in candidates that were very under-qualified or very overqualified for the job at hand. With that said, we understand what we do as a business is a small niche community and most individuals have no experience in this industry. Which is why we did not feel we were negatively impacted by the feature. I would be curious to see how it works for someone listing at a common workplace such as a medical or dental office.
