Overall Satisfaction with Zoom

I use Zoom with a consortium of school districts in South Central Kansas. We have implemented Zoom into our H.323 videoconference class scenario. Zoom has created many new avenues for my schools through video! We most use Zoom to deliver or connect high school and dual credit courses between school districts. We also use Zoom to bring curriculum enhancing material such as content providers and experts into K-8 classrooms without any extra equipment. It is all live and interactive.

Pros

  • Zoom has been great to listen to their users. They have over the last couple of years integrated many new features that help my teachers.
  • Technical support is wonderful! They are a phone call away and have many videos that explain features perfectly.
  • My teachers have loved how user friendly Zoom is! There is no in-depth training. It's so simple to get started. It's made integration very easy!

Cons

  • Honestly, Zoom has been cutting edge! They release new features all the time! I cannot find an area for improvement.
  • One of the major impacts Zoom has had on my members has been cost savings! The equipment is scale-able to any need!
We have integrated Zoom for meetings between one administrator to another. We also do full classroom integration. It is easily scale able and the equipment is as complicated as you want to make it. Zoom can be integrated on a very cheap scale, or you can go very techie and buy expensive equipment....although I wouldn't recommend the latter, unless you just have money to burn.
